The Wolfiator is the final boss of Serious Sam Advance.
Overview[]
Think Minotaur, think wolf, thing even scarier, this Mental progeny has magic and minions to spare. Sam had better be extremely careful facing this behemoth. It has the ability to call from the very air an infinite amount of Beheaded Kamikaze that constantly rush the player, forcing Sam back and back, until there is no where else to go. The Wolfiator looks like an immense wolf, which stands on two legs, it's armor has been melted into the skin and atop it's head is fully plumed praetorian guards helmet. Sam must reduce the Wolfiator's hit points by 75%, before it stops spawning Beheaded Kamikaze. From this point it then fires at Sam with multiple homing missiles for 20 sec, then going through all the enemies, except Sirian Sphinx, spawning 10 of each before firing homing missiles again. The Wolfiator repeats this cycle for as long as it stays alive. A good tactic might be to leave one weaker enemy alive to stop the Wolfiator from spawning again.
Presumably, it was responsible for Sam Stone being teleported to Ancient Rome after defeating the Sirian Sphinx.
The in-game description will not appear after the victory. It can be found in game files and it doesn't match with enemy battle.
Behavior and skills[]
The Wolfiator's primary attack is firing electrical orbs at the player. These orbs will split into three orbs when it reaches the middle of the room. Its second attack is summoning either four Gunrillas in the corners of the room or four Bladder Beasts between the two entrances to attack the player after a certain amount of time has passed, alternating between the two. It will then return to firing projectiles.
Tactics[]
- The Wolfiator behaves nearly exactly the same as the Sirian Sphinx. It has the same electric orb attack and will summon enemies after a while. The only difference is that it summons Gunrillas instead of Cyclopes.
- The Uni-Directional Microwave Transmitter is very useful when fighting against the Wolfinator. One shot will kill all of the Gunrillas it summons, making it simple clearing them out in order to start attacking the Wolfinator again. However, the UMT does no damage to the Wolfiator.
- As with the Sirian Sphinx, the minigun and rocket launcher work best against the Wolfiator. The minigun can quickly deal a lot of damage to the Wolfiator due to its high rate of fire and decent damage per bullet, while the rocket launcher does less damage, but its decent ammo reserve and damage per shot will allow the player to finish off the Wolfiator if they run out of bullets.
