The V-22 Osprey is a multi-use, tiltrotor military transport and cargo aircraft with both vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities. It was used by the Earth Defense Force during the Tunguska Offensive.

The V-22 Osprey is perhaps the largest aircraft seen in the Earth Defense Force's arsenal. It was used for a variety of missions, such as transporting cargo, ammunition and other military supplies, as well as troops and high-ranking military personnel for long-distance travel.[1]

The only Osprey seen in-game is piloted by Hellfire. She uses it to escort the Triple-A team to Carcassonne, France, which is the alleged location of the Holy Grail and the Ark of the Covenant. Their mission is to rendevous with the leader of the Carcassonne resistance cell, Michelle.
On the way there, the Osprey comes under fire by Octanian Raiders, and it sustains heavy damage. Hellfire loses control of the aircraft, forcing the team to abandon it and parachute out into the French countryside.[1]
Trivia[]
- In real life, the Osprey requires a pilot and a co-pilot, but Hellfire is seen flying it on her own. This is likely due to her piloting skills.[2]
