Unpleasant Surprise is the seventh level of Serious Sam: The Random Encounter.
Plot[]
Expecting to find Mental waiting for them outside the temple, the heroes were disappointed to find nothing but silence. A few enemies attacked them, but nothing they hadn't already seen. They were wondering why everything was so eerily quiet when Ugh-Zan III suddenly appeared behind them and gave chase.
Thankfully, the towering warlock was seemingly unable to swim as the heroes crossed a lake to safety.

There are no secrets in this level.
Tactics[]
- Despite chasing after the heroes and being a towering menace, Ugh-Zan III does not actually pose a threat to the player. He simply keeps the heroes from opening both chests in the middle. The top one contains a Revive item, while the lower one holds a Serious Bomb. It is recommended to take the Serious Bomb, as it will be very useful in surviving the final level.
- The SBC Cannon found from the first chest is immensely powerful and should under no circumstances be ignored, as it can instantly kill the Major Bio-mechanoids that will show up as normal enemies from here going forward.
