Overview[edit | edit source]
The Ulgump is a special and small-sized enemy that spawns at random in all environments with a small chance. He only stays on the screen for a very short time - he approaches a certain point at the bottom of the screen, fires a large energy ball in the upwards direction, and then leaves. The energy ball that is fired is a very slow traveling one and will go through all obstacles and enemies without damaging them in a linear path to the top of the screen, with the exception of a player character. The projectile is also not delectable with a hammer attack and is not destroyed when it hits a player - it will continue traveling.
Tactics[edit | edit source]
- Ulgumps are mostly a nuisance. The best way to deal with them is to attack them as soon as you see them.
- Ulgumps don't have much health, but if left alone they can raise the difficulty by effectively blocking off one section of the screen. This also depends on the environment - in narrower sections of Jack of the Jungle, it is an absolute necessity to take them out, but in broad places like most of Molty Python, it is easy enough to just avoid the projectile.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Like the Sirian Werebull, the Ulgump has no additional tiers.
