The Treasure Coin is a collectible item that appears in several Serious Sam games.
Overview[]
The treasure coin is a large coin based on the 10 Lipa coin from the Republic of Croatia. When picked up, it gives the player 100 points in Serious Sam 2 or 250 points in Serious Sam HD, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Serious Sam VR and Serious Sam 4.
Appearances[]
Treasure coins appear in single-player and co-op in Serious Sam 2, but can only be found in coin-op co-op mode in Serious Sam HD, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE, and Serious Sam VR.
Treasure coins are often found either in secret areas, in semi-hidden parts of a level, or in crates in Serious Sam 2. In some cases, they can be found without having to look.
Tactics[]
- Alone, treasure coins aren't worth that many points, but when there are a lot of them, they can give the player a lot of points.
- Even one or two coins are useful for getting a larger score, so always make sure to pick up coins.
