The Treasure Bag is a collectible item that appears in several Serious Sam games. It gives the player a certain amount of points when collected.
Overview[]
The treasure bag is a large, tan coin bag with a big US Dollar sign on it. When picked up, it gives the player 10,000 points in Serious Sam: Xbox, or 1000 points in Serious Sam 2.
Appearances[]
The treasure bag appears normally in Serious Sam: Xbox and Serious Sam 2, but can only be found in coin-op co-op mode in Serious Sam HD, Serious Sam VR, Serious Sam 3: BFE and Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE.
In every game the treasure bag appears in, it is almost always found in secrets or semi-hidden areas of levels. They are never found just by walking around.
Tactics[]
- The point reward offered by a treasure bag is much more useful for one's score, so the player should always try to seek them out via secrets and the like if they're gunning for a high score in a level, or in Serious Sam: Xbox and Serious Sam 2 for extra lives.
