"The Tower of Confusion" is the thirty-seventh level of Serious Sam: Next Encounter.
Plot[]
Sam has found himself at a tower, but this is no ordinary structure; the laws of physics don't seem to quite make sense, with the floors featuring strange gravity.

Damn. This tower was the generator for the gravitational fields you just encountered as well as the sole route to the Throne room. Someone has sabotaged it to stop you in your tracks. The gravitational gyroscope that was used to project the gravitons has been deliberately mis-aligned and the tower is tearing itself apart around it. You will have to move quickly to reach the very top of the tower before it collapses. At its peak is a teleport that will take you closer to the Throne Room.

- At the very beginning of the level, jump out the window onto the platform to find treasure artifact (worth 2000 points).
- After the "hamster wheel" jump out the window to get some treasure artifact (worth 4000 points).
- Upon exiting the first tower - the one where you were walking along the inner circumference- make your way to the second tower. This is the first portion of the level where gravity's going to behave itself. As you enter, you'll be prompted to pick up a box of shotgun shells, forced to fight off some Atlanteans soon thereafter. Kill them, then the floor below will start rising. Quickly return to the entryway as the floor ascends. Be patient, as there is another floor below, and on it is some purple lights. Walking in it will transport you up near the top of this tower on a broken column, with the treasure (worth 4000 points).
