"The Package" is the fourteenth level of Serious Sam 4.
Plot[]
Having nearly escaped from a twisted General Brand's clutches, Sam parachutes down to an abandoned Russian oil rig, the Thunderbird, in Siberia. At first, Sam appears to be stranded, but luckily for him, there is a boat in the distance. All he needs to do now is get onto the oil rig, make it to the boat, get to the portal in Tunguska and stop General Brand from handing over the 'False Grail' to Mental before it's too late.

"Twisted Little Passages"[]
After getting inside the oil rig's interior for the second time, the player will come across a locked storage room. To open the door, they have to complete a text-adventure game named "Sorcerouse Samuel" on a computer monitor next to the door. The reward inside the storage room are some armor, ammo, and a H.E.A.R.T. gadget.
S.A.M. locations[]
- In the oil rig's lower deck, in a room containing several Processed Anthropolyps and a radio shortly after obtaining the Double Barrel Coach Gun. This is the last S.A.M. egg to appear in the game.
Secrets[]
- When you enter the oil platform, go down the steps and there you will find a L.I.F.E. gadget behind the engine.
- From the previous secret, go up the steps, go to the left and climb the next steps. Reach the outside, then go up to the ladder. Go back inside and progress to the beginning of the secondary objective. From there, go to the right, climb the steps and take the C-4 Demolition Charges behind the tank.
- Back outside, jump on the pipe to find a Hacked Drone gadget. It can be quite hard to reach this position, so it is recommended to quick-save before reaching this secret.
- When you get to the main deck where the cranes are, go to the left, climb on the railing, then jump on the container to reach a L.I.F.E. gadget.
- Climb on the footbridge of the left crane, jump on the tanks, then reach the containers to find another L.I.F.E. gadget.

Behind the scenes[]
- Originally, there were plans for a refinery level set between this level and "From Earth With Love" in the final game, but it was scrapped due to time constraints. This level was added into the expansion pack Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem as the first level of the game, "A Smell Of Petroleum Prevails".
Trivia[]
- The soundtrack of this level uses the melody from the well-known Russian folk song "Kalinka".
- The achievement "Oil's Well That Ends Well" is a twist on the play All's Well That Ends Well by William Shakespeare.
- The game "Sorcerouse Samuel" features characters whose names are a play on the characters who appear in Serious Sam 4. Some include "Rodrigor" the barbarian (Rodriguez), "Hellflame" (Hellfire), and "Quinnriel" (Quinn).
