The Energy Gun is a weapon that appears in Serious Sam: Tormental. It is a variant of the Pistol and the primary weapon used by Bad Bulb.

Overview

The energy gun is an electric pistol-type weapon that deals rapid damage to the target. It can shock additional targets that are nearby. The weapon has several flaws, however, such as its poor range, as the player needs to get close to the enemy in order to use it, which can leave them vulnerable to attacks. The gun also deplete's Bad Bulb's health each time it is used, requiring the player to use it only when necessary or if they have plenty of HP.

Tactics

• As the gun has such low range, it should really be used against targets that use a melee attack, such as Cerebulls, Gnaars, Hoppers, Lizards and so on.
• As it deals rapid damage to enemies, it can also be used against slow or weak enemies like Gunrillas, Gonks and Snorklers.
• The player shouldn't use the weapon too often unless there are plenty of figments around or if the player has enough HP to spare.
