"The Deep City" is the thirty-third level of Serious Sam: Next Encounter.

Plot

Upon entering Atlantis, Sam is now in one of the civilization's biggest and most bustling cities, but there appear to be no signs of life. NETRICSA instructs him to go to the harbor, so he must head there.

There's no way to translate the name, but this is one of Atlantis' most bustling cities according to the documents I've archived. Strangely, the streets seem empty now. This can only mean that Atlantis has befallen the same fate as the other timelock loci. Prepare yourself for urban warfare 2000 leagues under the sea, Sam.

Head towards the harbor. Writings I have translated indicate that the keys to the harbor gates are somehow protected by the city's 'crab guardians'.

Brilliantly done, Sam. I've calculated a route that will lead us into the center of Atlantis. It will involve travelling through the underwater geothermal tunnels that lead off the lake at the far end of the city. Unfortunately because of the Atlantean machinery that harvests the energy from the water, it will be poisonous to you. To this end we have deployed a Serious Sub at the city's harbor. Get to the docks and board her.

Secrets

1. At your starting point, head to the foliage on the left. Before too long, a group of 2 Bio-mechanoids (2 Major Bio-mechanoids and 2 Minor Bio-mechanoids) will appear. Kill them and take the Treasure Chest (5000 points).
2. Behind the first monument to the Carcinus Lurker, there is an inter-block alley with bonuses in the form of 3 treasure artifacts (2000 points each). It is easy to identify him by accidentally forgotten boxes (jumping on which you will find a bonus).
3. Moreover, to the left of this passage, there is another one. There's a treasure artifact (5000 points) waiting for you in the same way, but this time, by picking it up, you'll activate an enemy trap attack.
4. To the left of the second monument to the crab, again, there is a secret passage between the houses. Go that way. You will be transported to a room with bonuses (Serious Bomb, 4 treasure artifacts containing 2000 points each), and then you will need to dive into a teleporter to return to the battlefield.

Treasure

1. When you reach the bridge, turn left and right to the end, where the treasure artifact will be (2 total, 1000 points each).
2. Under the same bridge in front of the water there will be 2 treasure artifacts (1000 points each).
3. When you get to the bridge, turn left and go to the end, where you will see the Serious Bomb.
