"The Corridors of Power" is the thirty-ninth level of Serious Sam: Next Encounter. It is the tenth and last 'lost' level to appear in the game.
Plot[]
Sam has entered the Corridors of Power. Now all he needs to do is make his way to the throne room. However, he is not alone, as NETRICSA has picked up heavy enemy activity from within. She also mentions that the doors within the corridor are locked, so he must proceed through the tunnels.

These huge corridors form the background for Royal processions and military performances and as such, lead directly to the throne rooms. Scans reveal that this area too has been riddled with alien activity so we must assume that the throne room has also been occupied and that the signals I have detected from there are somehow linked with the source of our troubles.
I can't open the doors along this corridor, Sam, so you'll have to make your own way through the side tunnels that connect these corridors together.Secrets[]
- You start this level on a long catwalk. Kill all the enemies and keep walking forward until you reach the platform marked `P1` - it will look like there are lights on the railing below. It will descend, which is your cue to jump off. Quickly race onto the other side of the room, and wait for a similar platform to reach the bottom. When it does, jump on. Soon, the message "SECRET!" will appear on the screen, and you'll find tons of ammo and a Super Armor.
- When the first passageway opens, there will be a 5 treasure artifacts room in it (1000 points each). Shoot the floor below until in crumbles, exposing a pit. Jump in, and there is a Serious Bomb there. However, the it might require more than one jump, as you'll warp back to the first corridor when you reach the bottom.
