"The Beast Beneath the Palace" is the twenty-ninth level of Serious Sam: Next Encounter, and the final level set in the Feudal China era.
Plot[]
Sam Stone is finally inside the Palace of Heavenly Purity. All he has to do now is find the Time-Lock deep within. However, NETRICSA grows suspicious after detecting a large substructure underneath and the palace and loud noises coming from within. She believes that this may be a large beast of some kind, and Sam has no choice but to fight it in order to proceed.

My sensors are showing activity that's almost off the scale. And what's more interesting, it's under the palace. A geophysics sweep shows a large substructure underneath the palace, almost as if the palace was built to cover or conceal this area. I'm picking up noise as well, too varied to clearly identify.
Looks like you'll have a fight on your hands for the timelock, Sam. If you have any suppressed anger stored up, now might be a good time to let it out!Secrets[]
