Spaceship is the final level of Serious Sam: The Random Encounter.
Plot[]
Within the spaceship are four switches with ankh symbols on it that the heroes needed to press to activate some sort of mechanism. Sam's wish for some shooting to be involved with the puzzle was granted to him, as the switches are surrounded by enemy hordes far larger than any they had encountered thus far. To their disappointment, pressing all four buttons simply allowed Ugh-Zan III to enter the ship, forcing a confrontation.
Tactics[]
- This is it, only four encounters before the final battle. These are the toughest fights in the game, so feel free to use any items you have collected thus far. Be sure to collect the four chests as well, as they individually contain a Serious Speed, Serious Bomb, Serious Damage and Armor All item.
- Similar to the Lava Golem boss from "Temple Gardens", Ugh-Zan III himself poses no threat to the party despite his imposing stature. All that can be seen of him is his foot stomping onto the battlefield once every cycle, providing a short opportunity to attack him. Large hordes of enemies continuously spawn during the battle. Using a Serious Damage item once the cannon is ready to shoot can deal massive damage to Ugh-Zan. Just be careful to aim upwards, as he naturally raises his leg to step forwards.
Trivia[]
- The spaceship does not appear to be the SSS Centerprice despite being clearly of Sirian origin, but rather the top of the Great Pyramid itself.
- For some unknown reason, the music has a far longer pause between loops compared to other levels.
