Sniper Rifle Bullets, or Sniper Bullets, is type of ammunition that supplies ammo for the RAPTOR Sniper Rifle.
Overview[]
Sniper rifle bullets are an ammo pickup that gives ammo for the RAPTOR Sniper Rifle in all of its appearances, thus making it the only source of ammo for the weapon besides Ammo Packs or Serious Packs. When picked up, the bullets give the player a few rounds of sniper bullets, depending on the game that is being played and the current difficulty settings. In Serious Sam 1, Serious Sam HD, and Serious Sam 2, sniper bullet pickups give 5, while in Serious Sam 3: BFE, sniper bullet pickups give only 3. In Serious Sam 4, sniper bullets pickups give 6 instead.
Appearances[]
Sniper bullets, in their appearances, are a somewhat common type of ammunition. Like other types of ammo, they can appear in secrets.
In Serious Sam 3: BFE, sniper bullets no longer appear normally, and can only be found as secrets scattered throughout the campaign. This is not the case in the Jewel of the Nile expansion pack, where sniper bullets are plentiful.
Trivia[]
- Despite not appearing in Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, sniper bullets can be placed into modified versions of the game and into custom levels using the editor.
- The Serious Sam 4 model shows a total of 9 sniper bullets, 6 inside the open box and 3 outside, even though it only gives 6 bullets.
