Small Health (Rejuvenative Vial in Serious Sam: Double D) is a reoccurring healing item that appears in the Serious Sam series.
Overview[]
Small health is a fairly weak health item. It is useful for recovering some health that they player might've lost from after fighting weak enemies. It loses its effectiveness and reliability on higher difficulties, or if the player encounters a number of tough opponents.
Appearances[]
Small health is quite common throughout the games, occurring more frequently than other health items, but less so than Extra Small Health.
This item is often placed in "break" rooms or after a fight to give the player enough health to last long enough before they progress further. Sometimes, small health is used as a booby trap. Generally, a small health floating in the middle of nowhere, away from other items, is usually a trap, and in Serious Sam 2, small health is often found in crates. In Serious Sam: Double D, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Serious Sam: Double D: XXL, Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE, Serious Sam 4 and Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, it is often found between hordes of weak enemies or small amounts of enemies.
