The Sirius Shield is a type of shield made by the Sirians. It is only featured in Serious Sam 2.
Overview[]
The Sirius shield is the strongest shield in the known universe. As the shield is so strong, it is impenetrable to almost any kind can technology, save for the laser cannon on Kronor, the moon of Sirius.

Serious Sam 2[]
In Serious Sam 2, the Sirius shield is seen covering the entire planet, preventing Sam from being able to get there. He later learns that the shield can be penetrated temporarily with the use of a laser cannon located on Sirius' moon, Kronor. Once he gets there, he defeats Mental's forces at the base where the laser cannon is, and is able to use it to penetrate the shield.
With the shield exposed, Sam and members of the Alliance try to make it through, but unfortunately, the Alliance forces were unable to pass through it, due to the laser cannon losing power, resulting in the deaths of some Alliance members.
After the first attempt did not go so well, Sam tries to disable the shield generator, but he is lured into a trap. The Sirians set up a classic trap, involving a banana and some rope. Afterwards, after competing in some games, Sam is rescued by Alliance forces that penetrated through it themselves (probably using the laser cannon on Kronor) and fight along his side, but eventually they are brought down by Mental's AA weaponry.
Trivia[]
- The Sirian shield seems to be completely offline after the Mental Institution was destroyed, or Mental's minions disabled it to allow him to escape from death.
