A Sirian Elevator is a type of transportation device that can go upwards or downwards vertically. They are designed for granting one access to various Sirian chambers or complexes.
Overview[]
Sirian elevators are circular or rectangular-shaped platforms that can travel both up and down, but not horizontally. The platform is surrounded by white lines that flash periodically, and are motion-activated; they only move when they sense that there is someone standing directly on top of it.[1][2]
In Serious Sam 3: BFE, whenever the elevators are activated, an impenetrable force field will surround the elevator. This is to prevent anyone from falling off of it whilst it is in motion. Once the elevator stops, the force field will disappear.[1][2]
Appearances[]
Serious Sam: The First Encounter[]
The first and only elevator is shown inside the Great Pyramid, which Sam uses to transport himself up to top of the pyramid to board the SSS Centerprice.
Serious Sam 3: BFE[]
Two Sirian elevators make their appearance in the campaign, and can be found behind the locked Sirian doors that guard the entrance to the plasma generators. Here, Sam uses them to make his way down to the generators so he can power up the Time-Lock.[1][2]
