Serious Strength is a power-up that appears in Serious Sam's Bogus Detour. It is essentially the same as Serious Damage from other games.
Overview[]
Serious Strength appears as a yellow fist. When picked up, it increases the amount of damage the player deals for 30 seconds.
Occurrence[]
Serious Strength is a somewhat uncommon power-up in the game. It appears in most of the levels, but doesn't appear very often. It mostly appears before encountering a large horde of enemies.
Tactics[]
- Serious Strength is a useful power-up that can let the player quickly kill large groups of weak enemies with rapid-fire weapons, such as the Thompson submachine gun, or kill stronger enemies using weaker weapons.
- It is not recommended to use explosive weapons at close quarters, as the increased splash damage can hurt you badly, if not killing you outright.
- Like Serious Damage, Serious Strength helps to conserve ammunition.
