The Serious Jeep is a vehicle that appears in Serious Sam: Next Encounter.
Overview[]
The Serious Jeep is a green jeep resembling a humvee that has the Serious Sam logo on its front, rear and sides. It is equipped with two rocket launchers that fire homing rockets. It can also run over enemies, though doing so will leave the jeep vulnerable to enemy attacks. When it takes a critical mass or runs out of fuel, the jeep will explode.
Appearances[]
The serious jeep is the only vehicle that appears more than once and in the main levels. It is somewhat uncommon, mostly appearing before a large battle starts or in levels that that take a large amount of time to travel in foot.
Tactics[]
- The jeep's rockets are useful for taking out large enemies, such as Major Bio-mechanoids or groups of medium-strength enemies such as Kleer Knights.
- Its fast speed makes it useful for evading enemy attacks.
- Running over a large amount enemies is not recommended, as the jeep can take damage while killing them. As such, it is recommended to run over only a few weak enemies.
- It should be noted that the jeep's rockets can home to other targets instead of the one the player is aiming at. Therefore, it is recommended to take out other enemies around the player before firing.
