Sergey (also known as the Survivor), was a man who worked at the Thunderbird Oil Refinery. He appears as a minor supporting character in Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem.

Biography[]

Sergey was employed at the Thunderbird Oil Refinery at some point prior or or during the Tunguska Offensive.

When Mental's forces attacked the refinery, he and the other remaining personnel working there attempted to fend off the alien invaders, but to no avail. Eventually, they were all killed, leaving Sergey the only survivor. He was forced to retreat inside the communications tower and stayed there waiting for help to arrive.^[1]

Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem[]

Sergey is seen in the communications tower broadcasting a distress signal. Sam decides to head over there, in the hopes that he can rescue Sergey and estabilish communication with HQ. As Sam gets to the tower, Sergey explains the situation to him, but suddenly, a Draconian Burner appears. Before Sergey can react, the creature attacks him with its thermal beam guns and slices off his torso, killing him.^[2]

Personality and skills[]

He was seen as terrified and in shock, but of course this would've been a normal reaction for anyone there, seeing as Mental's forces were taking over the refinery and he was the last member of staff left at the site.

Appearance[]

Sergey was a young man of Russian descent. He appeared to be in his late twenties or early to mid twenties. He wore the standard Thunderbird Oil Refinery uniform and a hard hat.

Trivia[]

He is voiced by Damjan Mravunac, the main composer of the Serious Sam series.
He can be selected as a player model in the multiplayer settings.
"Sergey" is a Russian variation of Sergius, which is a male name of Ancient Roman origin.
