The Orc Scientist is a passive type of Orc that appears in Serious Sam's Bogus Detour.
Overview[]
Orc Scientists are responsible for developing and maintaining the technology for the Mental-Altani Corporation, such as the advanced Starskate system. They also worked on the Ooze project and attempted to enchance some of Mental's units with it, like the Infected Gnaar.[1]
Appearances[]
Orc Scientists are frequently found in the Moon base, where they perform biological experiments with the ooze in an attempt to enhance Mental's units and conduct research on Mental-Altani technology.
In Illogical Biological, there is an Orc Scientist who wears a blue lab coat called Daniel Platt. Killing him will drop the certified eye, which can be used to access his secret lab.
During the boss fight with Tech-X and PRIME-209, Orc Scientists are teleported in by the Director to repair the mechs after they have taken sufficient damage.
Behavior and skills[]
Like humans encountered earlier in the game, Orc Scientists are passive and will not attack the player, instead running away from them and avoiding conflict whenever possible.
