The Obsidian Elite Kamikaze is a variant of the Beheaded Kamikaze that appears in Serious Sam's Bogus Detour.
Overview
Obsidian Elite Kamikazes are special types of Kamikazes with more health than their regular variants.
Occurrence
These types of Kamikazes don't appear as often as normal Kamikazes, and only start to appear during the Greece and Moon base levels, where they can be encountered in small to medium groups. They are sometimes found behind locked doors as a trap.
Behavior and skills
Obsidian Elite Kamikazes move quite slower than normal Kamikazes, but if set on fire, they can move at roughly the same speed as a normal Kamikaze. They will also set off a fiery explosion upon death, setting other Kamikazes and the player on fire if they are caught in the blast radius, making them more dangerous enemies than ordinary Kamikazes.
Tactics
- For obvious reasons, the player not should use the Flamethrower on a Elite Kamikaze unless as a last resort.
- Just like with regular Kamikazes, the Auto Shotgun, Shotgun Thompson submachine gun and Laser Cannon work great against them.
- When entering a room with a Powercell containing Elite Kamikazes behind locked doors, eliminate the Kamikazes as soon as possible to reduce the risk of taking damage.
