Sam must fight his way to the final element, the Water Element, which is located inside the shrine near the oasis. Once he has obtained it, he can continue on his mission to Memphis and Thebes.
Secrets[]
From your starting position, turn back to find a secret ammo depot.
Inside the temple, pick up the Extra Small Health pill on the left of the statue for a "sound-attack" secret.
After picking up the health pill from #2, pick up the Extra Small Health pill on the opposite side of the statue (which causes a Major Bio-mechanoid to spawn) and then blow up the statue to activate a secret bouncer.
After activating the secret bouncer in #3, it will give you a message about a secret doorway opening. Use the bouncer to be bounced to a secret XM214-A Minigun.
In the room with the Marsh Hopper boss fight, blow up the last wall to the left to reveal some health and bullets.
From #5, pick up only the health and exit the secret "cave". This will spawn an Arachnoid and register the secret.
