The multi-crossbow is a ranged weapon that appears in Serious Sam: Tormental.
Overview
The multi-crossbow is similar to that of a regular crossbow, but fires 8 arrows instead of one. These arrows travel in a fast, zigzag pattern like the projectiles fired by the Harpoongun. Unlike other weapons in the game, the player can collect the arrows that are fired from the multi-crossbow.
Occurrence
The multi-crossbow is only found in blue Mental chests but it can also be bought from shops.
Tactics
- Each arrow only deals 9 damage, so it is recommended to use the weapon in close to medium range against an enemy to ensure that most, if not all arrows hit them.
- It is useful for taking out tough enemies such as Cerebulls, Croakueens or Red Widows, so long as the player keeps theur distance if there are other enemies present.
- It is an ideal weapon for taking out groups of weak enemies at a time, especially when they are swarmed together.
