Minigun Bullets (or Minigun Ammo) is a type of ammunition that supplies ammo for the XM214-A Minigun.
Overview[]
Minigun bullets are a special type of ammunition used only for the minigun in Serious Sam Advance, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE, Serious Sam 4, and Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem. In the latter games (except for Serious Sam Advance), this is most likely for balancing reasons so that the player won't be swimming in minigun ammo because ammo for the AK-74MX and M29 Infantry Assault Rifle is relatively common.
The amount of bullets this item gives when picked up varies depending on game and the enemy multiplier settings:
- Serious Sam Advance: 50 rounds,
- Serious Sam 3: BFE: 100 rounds,
- Serious Sam 4/Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem: 200 rounds.
Appearances[]
Minigun bullets are usually found in groups of at least two. They start appearing as soon as the player picks up the minigun and continue to be somewhat common throughout the game. In Serious Sam 3, minigun bullets are quite rare, but they are occasionally found in secrets. In Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, minigun bullets are extremely rare and only appear on the final level. They are more common, however, when playing on New Game+ modes.
