"Man vs. Beast" is the prologue level of Serious Sam 4.

Plot

Set during the Tunguska Offensive, Serious Sam leads a large army of Earth Defense Force soldiers to fight Mental's Horde. During the fight, Sam is injured by a large, monstrous creature and knocked unconscious.

Trivia

• If the player is fast enough, it is possible to shoot the scepter held by General Brand with the RAPTOR Sniper Rifle as he jumps in front of Sam. If done correctly, instead of the game transitioning to the first proper level once the ensuing cutscene is finished, this will skip the player ahead to the game's the final boss.
