Large Armor is an item that provides the player with 50 armor points when picked up.

Overview[edit | edit source]

In most games, large armor gives the player 50 armor points when picked up. In Serious Sam's Bogus Detour, it gives the player 100 armor points. Unlike Super Armor, it does not go beyond 100 armor points.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Large armor's looks vary depending on what game it appears in:

Occurrence[edit | edit source]

Large armor is usually found scattered throughout levels. It is usually placed in “breather” rooms between hordes and as a booby-trapped item.

Like stronger armor, large armor appears in secrets, but usually mixed in with other items, like ammo or health.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

  • Large armor had a completely different model in Alpha. It used a golden roman-style helmet similarly to what the Small Armor in The Second Encounter uses. In Test 1, it used the Extra Large Armor Test 1 model, but with a brown-colored texture.
