Insight is a feature introduced in Serious Sam: Tormental. They are usually obtained from Figments, the game's main in-game currency.
Overview[]
Unlocking a character skin and in-game lore with Insight.
Insight consists of deep pieces in Mental's imagination that exist inside his mind. Insight can be used for unlocking a variety of things, such as skins for characters, random power-ups (such as the Ankh Potion), a random Serious Weapon, Moods, or unlocking in-game lore in the Library. The more insights the player unlocks, the higher the quota increases.
The random power-ups and Serious Weapons can be found in the Mental Chest.

Insight is collected whenever the player dies and has collected an arbitrary amount of Figments. The amount of insight the player gains is based on how many Figments they had on them at the time of death.
Tactics[]
- Using The Switcher, the player can add Moods which make the game harder at the expense of earning more points, which helps you get insight's more easily.
Trivia[]
- Like the majority of other features in Tormental, such as Figments and Moods, insight is based on the capacity to gain an accurate and deep understanding of someone or something.
