Hilarious Harry is a playable multiplayer character in the Serious Sam series.
Biography[]
According to his description, Harry "is the model formally known as Sam". He was actually a second iteration.

Hilarious Harry is a bald, muscular Caucasian man wearing a tan shirt with a tanner and large vest over it. In Serious Sam 1, he wears black shades. Harry was originally going to be Serious Sam's model, but Croteam decided to stick to the original design.
Behind the scenes[]
- When Croteam updated their assets during the development of The First Encounter, they replaced the old character model they used for "Serious Sam" which was first shown on September 24th. 1999, in the first announcement trailer for the game. After Test 1, Croteam made a new, more realistic model that looked more like the concepts they made for the game's main character. Later on, Croteam sent screenshots showcasing the new model to "GA-Source" and on 23 August, 2000 they upload them to the public. Many fans were furious and heavily disliked the new, more "realistic" look, so Croteam reverted back to their old characteristic Sam design wearing red sneakers, blue jeans and white tank top shirt.
- The prototype version of Harry has Sam's logo on the back of the jacket, a white tank top shirt with Sam's logo, different gloves, animations and textures in a higher resolution.
- The earliest model shown on the official screenshot has different boots compared to the later Test 2 and the final version.
Trivia[]
- Harry has a logo similar to that of the Serious Sam logo on his back, but with a face that resembles a carved pumpkin.
- He is called "soldier" in the game files.
- Harry's arms are in fact the arms of the player in The First Encounter and The Second encounter, as the gloves and arms in fact match with the first person view of the player, unlike Sam's third person model.
