The Grenade Launcher is a weapon that appears in Serious Sam: Tormental.
Overview[]
The grenade launcher is a weapon that fires a grenade each time the fire key is pressed. Unlike other grenade launchers in the Serious Sam series, the grenade launcher can't be charged, but the grenades can travel far. Grenades can be shot over walls or over other enemies. A grenade will fall and explode on the place targeted with the cursor.
Appearances[]
There is a slim chance to obtain the grenade launcher from a large red chest at the start of Mental Woods. It can also be purchased with a key from NPCs in the later levels or be unlocked from blue Mental chests.
Tactics[]
- The grenade launcher is an excellent weapon against groups of weak enemies clustered together or against tougher opponents.
- Weak enemies like Gnaars, Gonks, Hoppers, Lizards,Pterradactyls and Snorklers can be easily destroyed from the grenades fired by this weapon.
- The weapon doesn't carry very much ammo, so it should be saved against tough enemies or bosses.
- It is extremely useful against Croakueens, as the grenades can deal damage to the Croakueen and kill any Toad Hoppers that are spawned by it.
