The Flamethrower is a Serious Weapon that appears in Serious Sam: Tormental.
Overview[]
The flamethrower is a gasoline-fed flamethrower that functions very similar to the XOP Flamethrower and XOP Gas Gun. Like the latter weapons, the flamethrower has limited range, but is an excellent crowd-control weapon. When used against enemies, it will set them on fire for a short period of time and drain their health at the same time. Unlike flamethrowers from other games though, it has a short cooldown before it can be used again.

The flamethrower has a chance to appear in blue chests. It can also be bought from shops with keys.
Tactics[]
- The flamethrower is an ideal weapon to use on hordes of small, weak enemies like Gonks, though it can also be used to damage tougher enemies like Cerebulls or Gunrillas before finishing them off with other weapons.
- As the weapon has a low ammo count, so it shouldn't be used too often and only as a last resort or as a crowd-control weapon.
