Filibert is a farmer and hippie who lives on a farm located several miles away from Carcassonne. He appears as a minor supporting character in Serious Sam 4.
Biography[]
Filibert is, based on his accent, born in France, and likely in the Aude department of southern France. Not much else is known about his life other that he began working on a farm during his adulthood. At some point in his life, his mother, Fleurette, decided to live in Paris, as she couldn't deal with Filibert's strange behavior and his brother's conspiracy theories.[1]
He has a brother, Fulbert le Fou, who lived a few miles away in a swamp. He was a hermit and a paranoid conspiracy theorist who developed the FRPCL.[2]

Serious Sam 4[]
Filibert sets up a beacon to celebrate the 'Dawn of Aquarius' with the aliens.
Filibert introduces himself to Sam upon meeting him at his farm. He believes that Mental's forces are not "invaders" as most people see, but supreme beings who have come from the stars to teach humanity about the ways of their pacifistic ways. He gets their attention by setting up a beacon, and suddenly a Technopolyp, a large horde of Octanian troops and Mental's soldiers begin attacking Filibert, Sam and his farm. Sam deals with the unwanted visitors while Filibert hides behind cover.[3]
With all the aliens dead, Filibert thanks Sam for his assistance and tells him that there is a military base south from his farm, but he cannot go on foot considering the distance it is to the base. He lends Sam the keys to his combine harvester, and Sam gladly accepts.[3]
Appearance[]
Filibert is a Caucasian man in his early thirties or fourties. He has a long beard similar to Father Mikhail, and he is slightly overweight. He wears dirty blue overalls over a green shirt, brown shoes, a red woolly hat and pink shades.
Personality and skills[]
Filibert is a pacifist who wants to live with nature. He believes in Hinduism and their traditions, such as spiritualism, chakras and karma. When Mental's forces attacked Earth, he thought that it was the "Dawn of Aquarius" and that Mental's forces had come to Earth to teach humanity about the ways of peace and prosperity.[3] This changed when Mental's forces began attacking Filibert's farm, and only then did he realise he had made a terrible mistake in getting their attention and that they were actually invaders, and called them "evil astral imperialists".

Sam Stone[]
He recognizes Sam's combat skills and potential after he defeated Mental's forces. He also gave him directions to a military base and offered him his combine harvester to help Sam get there quicker than on foot.
Trivia[]
- He can be selected as a player model in the multiplayer settings in both Serious Sam 4 and Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem.
- Filibert telling Sam he cannot go on foot "like a Hobbit" is a reference to Middle-earth.
- He has several button with emojis on them sown onto his overalls.
