The Excavator is a construction vehicle seen in Serious Sam 3: BFE and Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE.

Overview

The excavator is heavy construction equipment used for many purposes, such as digging up foundations or buried structures, mining, landscaping, and more. As the excavator does not appear in-game, it cannot be used by the player.

Appearances

Serious Sam 3: BFE

An excavator appears in the game's opening cinematic excavating the Time-Lock, along with other construction vehicles such as the Front Loader. This is the only time the vehicle is seen, and it does not make an appearance in the campaign.

Trivia

• When viewed in the editor, a person can be seen inside the excavator, though their model is positioned in the T-pose. This can also be seen in the game's opening cutscene if one observes closely.
  • The worker inside the vehicle uses a similar model to that of Jones, but has a mustache.
