Devastator Shells are a type of ammunition that appear in several Serious Sam games.
Overview[]
Devastator shells serve as ammo for the A-24 Devastator. They come in packs of 20 on Normal and Hard, and 40 on Tourist, Easy and Serious difficulties. The amount given will increase if the player increases the enemy multiplier.
Appearances[]
The ammo for the Devastator is quite rare throughout the games they appear in, though they are plentiful in Jewel of the Nile. They tend to become more common in the final levels. Occasionally, they can be found in secrets.
In Serious Sam 4, Devastator shells begin to appear from One for the Road onwards, starting in the quarry where the Devastator is first obtained. It becomes uncommon throughout the rest of the game. In Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, though, the Devastator and ammo for it are exclusive to the moddable version of the game, where they can be placed into levels with the Serious Editor.
