Carrion Caverns is the ninth level of Serious Sam: Double D, and the twelfth level of Serious Sam: Double D: XXL.
Pilot[]
Sam has reached a part of Nova Scotia in which dead dinosaur carcasses lie in. He fights many enemies such as Worms and before he leaves, he encounters the Female Bio-mechanoid. After Sam kills it, a crystal beacon appears from its body and Sam destroys the beacon. However, he's not teleported, so he continues to travel through Nova Scotia to see what's going on.
Secrets[]
- From your starting position, head left and continue heading left until you find the Secret Monument to Parallax.
- At the carrion caves, jump as high as you can, and head right. There's a health pill on the top of one of the platforms. Pick it up to spawn a lot of Minor Bio-mechanoids.
- While on top of the carcasses, head for the top, but go left. You will see a pill floating above in the air. Pick it up to spawn some Bio-mechanoids and a ledge with another pill. Pick up the health pill from the spawned ledge to spawn more ledges with health pills. Do this until you see a ledge with a Type II Machine Pistol on the top of it.
- After the Major Bio-mechanoid fight, jump up on the mountain until you see a checkpoint. From there, jump on the ledges above to find some secret items.
- When you drop down, slide on the left side of the beetles, and when you’re at the bottom, jump in the cave on the left to find the secret beetle backroom with some items.
