The car is a typical four-door grey sedan. It appears to have been neglected for some time, and is covered in rust and parts of the car have fallen off. Unlike the vehicles that appear in Serious Sam 4, the player cannot drive the vehicle, as it is scripted to be used in cutscenes.
According to a quote from Sam, his car was made in Detroit, though the license plate reads that it was originally from Texas.[1] It could be possible that the steel parts for the car were from Detroit, though they were imported to Texas.

Sam first uses the car to escape from Cairo to get to the Great Pyramid.[2][3] Later on, the car appears in another slum where he has to fill up the car with 9 gas canisters before he can get to the Time-Lock. Mental, of course, sends in his forces to try and prevent Sam from reaching his destination. Once Sam has cleared the area and the car is filled up and ready to go, Sam departs in the car towards the location of the Time-Lock.[1]
Eventually, after driving in the desert for sometime, Sam's car runs out of gas just before a Sandwhale approaches.[4] At this point, he is forced to abandon his car and run. The car is devoured by the Sandwhale shortly after Sam escapes.
