Bullets are a type of ammunition that supply various bullet-firing weapons in the Serious Sam series.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Bullets are a type of ammo pickup that provides bullets for automatic weapons, such as the Thompson submachine gun. In every game that it has appeared in so far, bullets appear as a green box filled with rifle cartridges.

The amount of ammo in each box of bullets depends on the game and (in some cases) the difficulty level. In Serious Sam 1, Serious Sam: Xbox, Serious Sam: Next Encounter, Serious Sam HD and Serious Sam VR, each box supplies 50 rounds (100 rounds on Tourist, Easy and Serious difficulties in SS1 and SSHD), while in Serious Sam 2, it gives the player 100 rounds per box. In Serious Sam: Double D and Serious Sam: Double D: XXL, it gives the player 125 rounds.

Variants[edit | edit source]

In Next Encounter, two other variants of bullets exist; Homing Bullets and ricochet bullets. homing bullets will home in on targets when they are fired, and ricochet bullets can bounce off of walls, floors or ceilings.

Occurrence[edit | edit source]

Bullets are fairly common throughout the games, and usually appear in abundance in "break" rooms before or after a big fight.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

  • The Serious Sam 1 bullets box has a different texture and lacks the divider between bullets in Test 1.
