The Buddy Replicator is a Serious Weapon that appears in Serious Sam: Tormental.
Overview[]
The buddy replicator is unique among the various weapons that appear in the game, as it does not fire a projectile when the fire key is pressed, but rather spawns a buddy called the Hunter. The replicator can spawn multiple buddies at once, provided that the player has plenty of ammo for it. The buddies that are spawned will target any nearby enemies and fire at them for a while before disappearing.

Like other serious weapons, the buddy replicator has a chance to be obtained from blue Mental Chests or it can be bought with keys from NPCs.
Tactics[]
- The weapon can be a useful tool for the player if they are being overwhelmed by rooms crowded with enemies or during boss fights.
- While the buddies themselves don't deal much damage, they can serve as a distraction for the player or it can make it easier for the player to finish the enemies off that are being targeted by the buddies.
