Bad Bulb is a playable character who appears in Serious Sam: Tormental.

Overview

Bad Bulb is one of the four playable in Serious Sam: Tormental. He is a white light bulb with a single blue eye and mouth. He was once part of a dying civilization that attempted to create robotic life, but instead accidentally produced a race of sentient life bulbs. After a short period of enlightenment, Mental discovered this species and wiped them out with his armies. Thus, Bad Bulb's mind is the only remnant of his once-proud people.

Like the other two characters, Bomb and NETRICSA, Bad Bulb has to rescued inside Mental's mind, where he is kept in a prison in Nightmare Caves. It costs 9 keys to unlock the prison. When Bad Bulb has been rescued, the player can switch to play as him anytime they wish at the start of Mental Woods.

Bad Bulb doesn't use the regular Pistol like the other characters do, instead he has a weapon called The Energy Gun which he uses to attack enemies. He is also equipped with a weaker version of the Sledgehammer called Melee Bulb.

Bad Bulb has the ability to electrocute enemies and damage them in a wide area, but he has to get close to them to be able to use it. Unlike the other playable characters, Bad Bulb's health will deplete over time due to his dependance on electricity. Using his shock ability to kill enemies while collecting the figments they drop will refill Bulb's health bar at the same time.
