With the recently acquired Jump Pad in his possession, Sam can now use it to reach places he couldn't reach before. He goes further through the caves and ends up in an area made of a strange green material with amethyst growing from them.
Secrets[]
After jumping the third wall that requires the jump pad, you will see a ledge where you have to drop down below and a ledge sticking out of the wall on the right. Use the jump pad to reach the ledge sticking out of the wall and walk into the hidden hall to find an Extra Large Armor.
After an area with a lot of Chimputees and ledges, after #1, drop down from the lowest ledge on the right side of the room. You will come across a green Gnaar named Templeton who wanders around the room. Use the jump pad to make him get out of the room and unlock a door that only he can open, leading to a room with a MadDog Grenade Launcher and an Extra Large Health.
After going down a diagonal ramp, go on the left instead of right. You will reach to a room with some spikes. Use the jump pad to wall jump and reach a secret armor.
After passing the Gnaar area with the ceiling spikes, jump on the leftmost upper ledge. You’ll see an opening. Wall-jump to the opening to find a Gunstack Connector.
Before you drop down after leaving the room containing secret #4, use the jump pad to jump on ledges above you, until you find an extra large health in the leftmost upper ledge.
