The Alien Artifact Acquisition Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) is a vehicle used by members of the Alien Artifact Acquisition and Earth Defense Force. It serves as a convenient mode of ground transport for high-ranking personnel of the EDF, especially for members of the Triple-A team.
Overview[]
The SUV is a 4x4 vehicle and one of the Alien Artifact Acquisition's main mode of transportation on the ground aside from Humvees. It is used for carrying high-ranking personnel and alien artifacts for long-distance travel.[1] The SUV is lightly armored and lacked any defensive capabilities or weaponry, thus Triple-A often traveled in a convoy in the SUVs with Humvees for protection against ground-based attacks. This tactic, however, was ineffective against attacks from the air, such as bombs dropped by Octanian Raiders.[1]

A convoy consisting of several Humvees and SUVs are seen escorting the Triple-A members and other EDF personnel on their way into Rome, to meet up with Mikhail Obruchev, a Russian priest who is believed to have information on the Holy Grail. One of the SUVs, including the one carrying Sam, is destroyed during an attack by an Octanian raider fleet. The driver is killed in the blast, but Sam and Kenny make it out unscathed. The surviving vehicles proceed to the Vatican, while Sam and Kenny are forced to proceed there on foot.
Another SUV is seen being driven by Hellfire to escort Sam and the rest of the team out of Pompeii after Mount Vesuvius erupts, following the activation of the HARRP.[2]
